Guided by this passion, we partnered with Shortboxed to define their visual identity, laying the groundwork with comprehensive brand guidelines. Additionally, we collaborated closely on various marketing initiatives, providing design expertise, captivating photography, engaging video content, and enhancing user experience through intuitive UI/UX design for both their web platform and top-rated mobile app.

Challenge

Shortboxed sought to position itself as the leading modern marketplace for comic collectors by creating an engaging, high-quality digital experience that would resonate with a new generation of enthusiasts. With a diverse collection of comics from top dealers across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., their mission was clear: to elevate the brand’s presence while ensuring an exceptional user experience on both web and mobile platforms. The challenge lay in distilling their passion for comics into a cohesive visual identity and user-friendly design, one that not only captured the essence of the collecting community but also streamlined the buying and selling experience for users.

Approach

Our partnership with Shortboxed began with defining and refining their brand’s visual identity. We crafted comprehensive brand guidelines to establish a consistent and recognizable presence across all platforms, drawing on the culture and excitement of the comic world. To ensure top-level user experience, we designed intuitive, seamless interfaces for their web platform and mobile app, placing emphasis on user-friendly navigation and engagement. Complementing these efforts, we collaborated on marketing initiatives that included compelling photography and video content to showcase Shortboxed’s unique offerings. The result was a cohesive, elevated brand that stands as a trusted, modern marketplace for comic collectors and sellers alike.
